About the Event
Croydon BME Forum will be holding a Community Question Time intended to focus on making recommendations for a Health Service that is more appropriate and responsive to the needs of Croydon’s Black and Minority Ethnic communities. This will be an opportunity for BME communities to ask important questions and engage with Croydon’s health leaders and service providers; helping to reshape access, experience and outcomes for BME communities.
Commissioners and health leaders nationally and locally are going through a period of great change. Health care provision will change. Our responsibility for our own health care will change. Value for money and innovation underpin these changes. This event aims to have a positive input into how these changes can be best implemented in Croydon making health care and provision an equal right for all communities. Croydon BME Forum’s Health Summit will give a voice to Croydon’s BME communities.
- What are the key Health needs of Croydon’s BME Communities and how will they be met?
- How can public services engage BME communities better?
- How can we guarantee BME communities better access, experience and quality outcomes?
