Meet the Funder: Croydon Council Micro Grant on Thursday 27th August 2015
Croydon BME Forum will be hosting Croydon Council’s Grants Manager at a MEET-the-Funder event. The session will aim to support groups in understanding Croydon Council’s Micro grant and increasing their chances of submitting successful applications. The Micro grant which gives grants of up to £1000 are particular good for new projects, pilot projects and other small community activities. The grant prioritises activities run by community groups in three priority areas:
- developing active and inclusive communities
- helping people care for one another’s health and wellbeing, and
- tackling poverty and social exclusion.
Meet the Funder: Croydon Council Micro Grant will take place on Thursday 27th August 2015, 10am to 1:30pm, at Palmcroy House, 387 London Road Croydon CR0 3PB.
The event is free and open to the BME organisations in Croydon; however, places are limited and will be reserved on a first come first served basis.
Croydon Council Grant Manger will be on hand to talk directly with organisations about what is expected from applicants to stand a chance of successfully bidding. Croydon BME Forum will provide follow-up support to organisation who wish to progress to submitting a bid.
