Andrew Brown is an accomplished Director, skilled in coaching, strategic planning, business development, curriculum development, and public speaking. His professional journey is marked by a strong commitment to community development.

He has dedicated the last six years to Croydon BME Forum, where he has played a pivotal role in transforming the organization. Passionate about community engagement, Andrew has been a driving force behind events such as 'Cut it Out', a Cancer Conference, and Black History Month events. His genuine desire to make a positive impact is further evident in the establishment of two community centres: The Wellness Centre and The Health and Wellbeing Space at the Whitgift Centre.

Andrew's leadership extends beyond organisational growth to improving services for the community. His collaboration with Macmillan Cancer Support on a project addressing ethnic inequalities in health and social care demonstrates a commitment to support, engage and empower people, affected by cancer within BME communities, so care can be person-centred, culturally appropriate, and more effective.

One of Andrew’s recent achievements was that Croydon BME Forum was chosen from more than 400 charities across the UK as one of the 10 winners of the 2023 GSK IMPACT Awards which are delivered in partnership with leading health and care charity The King’s Fund.
